Cardiology Tour with Good Charlotte, Forever the Sickest Kids at House of Blues

“I heard that if everyone jumps at the same time, the entire building will shake,” Jonathan Cook, lead vocalist of Forever the Sickest Kids, said to an eager crowd.
And indeed, the ground moved the entire night at the Anaheim House of Blues Anaheim on Friday as the crowd went wild for the evening’s eclectic lineup. Pop-punk bands Good Charlotte, Forever the Sickest Kids and This Century, and hardcore group The Black Cloud Collective rocked the venue for the final night of the Cardiology Tour.
The night began early at around 6:30 p.m. with The Black Cloud Collective, led by Brandon Saller (ex-Atreyu). Although catchy, the group seemed a little out of place on the tour as they had a more hardcore rather than pop sound. The music was at no surprise similar to Atreyu, which the crowd did not seem to mind at all. At times during the set, Saller would jump into the barricades and serenade members of the front row.
“We’re gonna slow it down,” Saller said as the end of their set approached. “You’re gonna have to save your energy for the rest of the night.”
He also thanked the audience for coming out so early on a Sunday night.
The Black Cloud Collective isn’t just a band. It’s a family. So welcome to the family, every single one of you.”

Good Charlotte's 'Last Night' Video A Tribute To 'Family Double Dare'

There's an awful lot of Nickelodeon-related nostalgia in the air at the moment. Not only has the network announced that it will begin airing a late-night block of '90s classics like "Clarissa Explains It All" and "The Adventures of Pete & Pete,"but the men of have resurrected the channel's "Family Double Dare" in a video for their new song "Last Night," a clip that premiered on FunnyOrDie.com on Monday.

The video features a lovingly reconstructed version of the classic game show's set and finds the bandmembers participating in a number of the program's extra sloppy challenges — including a handful of entries on the famous game-ending obstacle course. Also appearing in the clip, in a starring role, is former "Family Double Dare" host Marc Summers, who oversees the proceedings and even lip-synchs some of the song.

Simple Plan's Pierre Bouvier And Vanilla Ice... Together!

The inevitable moment of collaboration between Simple Plan frontman Pierre Bouvier and Vanilla Ice has arrived. The two dudes known for telling people to shut up in lyrical form (no, really) will be part of Global's new Canada Sings series. They'll judge breakout talent along with Jann Arden on the show. Canada Sings isn't Canadian Idol v. 2.0. It features workplace glee clubs (CHARTattack does not, nor will it ever have one) trying to "out dance, out maneuvre and literally out sing the other teams for a chance to sing on a national stage," according to a press release.

The show will be hosted by former MuchMusic DJ and ex-CP24 dude Matte Babel, and two competing teams will be judged by a panel that will declare the winner at the end of each hour-long episode. Each glee club has picked a charity to make a donation to should they win.
You can look forward to seeing these glee clubs on Canada Sings:
